Volunteer
A big part of our ability to provide a quality primary school education and nuturing environment can be attributed to an additional asset we're proud to have: A corps of dedicated, passionate, skilled, and civic-minded volunteers. From assistance with hosting school events, to supporting our facilities and grounds staff, to lending a hand with office duties... Volunteers help make our school a special place and enable us to use (and direct) our resources prudently. Have a skill, area of interest, and time to help? We would love to hear from you and put you to work: Just contact our office at 315-487-8515. We'd be delighted to have you "join the family!"
Short on time, but still want to provide "material" help?
We regularly need office supplies, supplies for our art room, cleaning supplies, among many other 'wish-list' items. As above, if you're interested in donating materials or financial means to help us purchase such items, call our office at 315-487-8515. Thank you!
Safe Environment Training
All volunteers in our school will need to complete diocesan safe environment training.
The diocesan Child and Youth Protection policy requires completing the initial Safe Environment training session (2 hours) upon the assumption of duties, employment, or volunteering for those 18 years of age and older for those who are required to attend the initial Safe Environment Training and undergo a criminal background check. Those individuals are:
- All clergy;
- All members of religious orders;
- All parish and diocesan employees, including those who have no contact with children, young people, or vulnerable adults;
- All adult volunteers whose ministry or role places them in regular contact with children, young people, or vulnerable adults;
- Any adult interested in learning more about child abuse prevention.
